John C. MacFarlane, Director
Mr. MacFarlane is one of the founders of Milestone. He has over 28 years of executive-level management and financial experience. He formerly was president of a Houston, Texas based oilfield service company. Mr. MacFarlane has over 13 years of executive-level experience in international oil and gas and environmental service operations, including manufacturing, chemicals and service operations, with both Baker-Hughes, Inc. and TETRA Technologies, Inc. His experiences include developing and successfully implementing strategic business turnarounds, internal operations expansions, international acquisitions and joint ventures.
After graduating magna cum laude with a BBA in accounting from the University of Houston, he joined Ernst & Young working in both the Houston, Texas and Orange County, California offices. He has been involved in a variety of industries as an audit principal, including financial institutions, manufacturing, construction contractors, high-tech manufacturing and service, and oil and gas operations. Mr. MacFarlane is a certified public accountant and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
