Hendee
In October 2006, Milestone closed a management buy out of Houston – based Hendee Enterprises, Inc. Milestone, together with the three top managers of Hendee Enterprises (including Chuck Hendee), acquired all the assets of the company. Milestone and the management group provided all the equity required to make the acquisition. As part of the acquisition, Milestone obtained a controlling interest Hendee.
Hendee is an innovative and diversified manufacturer of architectural and industrial fabric products specializing in sun, wind, rain, hail and other weather related protection systems and filtration products. Hendee’s customer list includes notable names such as Home Depot, WalMart, McDonalds, Princeton University and Six Flags; as well as the Light Spikes project for the 1990 Economic Summit held in Houston. You see these Light Spikes today each time you travel to Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport.
